NCWGA 2012 Scholarship
Deadline is extended to August 15, 2012.
NCWGA is sponsoring a $500.00 Scholarship for 2012 to young members headed for college. You must be a member in good standing, Junior or Regular, of NCWGA to qualify. In addition, you must have proof of acceptance or enrollment in the college, and have raised natural colored sheep.
Along with a completed application, three letters of recommendation from qualified people such as teachers, counselors, or community leaders must be included.
This scholarship is based on merit, not financial need. Remember to give a complete outline of yourself. In addition to academics, include community and other organization involvement. Pictures, newspaper articles, etc, are acceptable documents.
Deadline is extended to August 15, 2012.
Incomplete applications will be disqualified. Entries must be postmarked by July 15, 2012 or they will be disqualified. Funds will be distributed after the NCWGA Board makes the selection. The winner will be announced in The Marker in September.
