Membership Categories
There are four classes of membership in NCWGA:
- Regular Membership
- Regular Members are 19 years of age or older, producers of naturally colored sheep, and in good standing with the Association, meaning dues for the fiscal year are paid. They are entitled to attend regular meetings, hold office, and vote.
- Junior Membership
- Junior Members are under 19 years of age, producers of naturally colored sheep, and in good standing with the Association, meaning dues for the fiscal year are paid. They are entitled to attend regular meetings.
- Associate Membership
- Associate Members are not producers of naturally colored sheep, but have been approved for membership by the Board of Directors, and are in good standing with the Association, meaning dues for the fiscal year are paid. They are entitled to attend regular meetings.
- Honorary Membership
- Honorary Members are 19 years of age or older who are not otherwise eligible to be a member, but have performed services in behalf of the Association warranting appointment. They have all right and privileges as a regular member in good standing.
